Angela Evelyn Bassett was born in the US. In the TV and film industry, she's known for her many awards and nominations. Bassett originates from New York New York. Her home was Winston-Salem North Carolina. When Bassett was five years old, she and her sister were moved from the city of St. Petersburg, Florida where they lived with their mother, who was been divorced from her father. When she was in high school Bassett was a spectator of John Steinbeck's play Of Mice and Men starring James Earl Jones and decided she wanted to pursue a career as an actor. When she graduated of Yale University New Haven Connecticut in the year 1980, she earned a Bachelor's Degree of African American Studies, she continued to pursue the Master's degree (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale, and in 1997 they tied the knot. Qualification: B.A. the Yale School of Drama conferred an M.A. in Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett back in 1980. She was a student at the following schools: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for 7th graders, Azalea Middle School for the 8th and 9th grade in addition to Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett is currently working as one of the main roles as Ramonda in the action-adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
